Where is God when you need him most? Does he seem to go silent when you are in the midst of a struggle or a crisis?
When God is silent or seems to be “MIA” in your situation it could be he’s waiting on you to surrender, to quit fighting, to trust him with your circumstances.
“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness”. 2 Corinthians 12:9
What current situation are you needing to surrender to God, giving up total control of how you think the situation should be solved or when it needs to be over.
God’s ways are higher than ours, his plans are better. And when our view of who He is and what he can do gets blurred because of a crisis or hardship, it makes God seem far and distant when in reality he’s been right by your side. As Jesus stands next to you he patiently waits for you to turn to him and to completely surrender it all.
Let God take over your life, present circumstances, and work on your behalf in all his power which works best in an attitude of weakness– complete surrender.
God I’m tired of being in control and I turn to you for my help in present trouble. I fall in complete surrender and acknowledge that your grace is sufficient and when I’m weak (in surrender) you are powerful. May I fix my eyes on you and not the problem today.
